The last book I read was Don’t Look Behide You. It was written in 1999, by Lois Duncan. I have a few reasons why I read it over the summer. One reason I decide to read it was because in 7th grade it was assigned to me for a reading project, but I never read it. Another reason why I read it was because it interests me because its about murder. Last reason is it’s a short and easy book to read.

The book was mainly this small family has to abandon home, friends, and family to enter to the government witness protection program. April is the main character, which is the daughter of the family, and she has it the hardest for her. The mom can’t do her dream job anymore, which was to become an author. They all had to change the way the looked. The little brother had to get contacts to hide the two different eyes he had.

The last book that I read was lord of the flies. The author of the book is William Golding. Lord of the flies was written in the early 1950’s in Salisbury, England. This was a book that we had to read in miss.crofts english class. It was a store of a bunch of kids stranded on an island. there was on adult the was eventually killed. the semi-civilized kids became wilder over the period that they were on the island. i would recommend that anyone that likes action, and drama. i would say that this book was very entertaining to me. Im interested in many kinds of novels like action, advencher, and secretive novels they catch my attencion.

The last book i read was Salem's Lot by Stephen King, the mane character is Ben mears. and was a number one selling book in 1975. it is also deamed a horrer classic and was the second novil by Stephen King. Secondary characters include Susan Norton and Matt Burke . i found this book to be verry introesting and rather haunting but it was an exelent book and i encurage anyone to read it.
The story is about a man named Ben Mears who returns to his home town after the death of his late wife, in hopes to to wright a book about an old house that gave him nightmares after a hauting experiance as a child. after meating an old highschool teacher and sparking a romance with Susan Norton, he finds the tow has dark secrets, many have to do with the house in witch he is writing a book about.

Lord of The Flies

This is the last book i read. It all began when the plane was shot down and crashed on a deserted island during the raging war. The plane was filled with the little English school boys. Ralph and Piggy were on a search of this island and found a shell called a "conch" which would later be used as a horn to civilize the group of boys. Ralph was elected to be the leader but Ralph put Jack in charge of the choir or the hunters to set out and find food on this deserted island. Later on in the story they use their resources like Piggy's glasses to create a fire to signal to the people around them that they are stranded. Later on more into the novel the boys are fighting man to man and killing pigs to get the food and supplies they need. Finally in the last couple of chapters of the book it explains the whole reason of Piggy's and the Twins' deaths.

Some of the themes used in the book are civilization vs. savagery, loss of innocence, and nature of good and evil. This book has a ton of different symbols included in the text of the book. Did You Know... that the Simpon's episode titled "Das Bus" is the parody of lord of the flies?

This was the last book that i read. It was written in 1954 by an author named William Golding. Its about a plane filled with school boys who crash on an uncharted island. They all try to get along but soon they split up into two groups and start a bad conflict that leads to madness and death/murder.
The main character Ralph tries to keep everyone together, but his rival Jack seems to think its not such a good idea to work on huts and keep eachother sheltered, he seems to think that killing animals for meat is the best way to go. They all eventually go on Jacks side except Simon and Piggy, and the twins. Simon dies by everyone going after him, and Piggy is murdered by Jack who pushed him over a cliff. I would recommend this book to whoever likes very visual text and filled with adventure. Its one of my favorite books.

When the people on the plane found one another they had the pilot at first but he would later die leaving the kids there to have to find a way to live. They would also have to learn how to get along with one another.
I would reccomend this book to everyone that is interested on adventure and out in the nature living. It was very interesting and was great. The next novel I would like to read is one that has more adventure and the people are sending this around in forms of letters.

A Walk To Remember

The last book Iread was A walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks. This was written in 1999 but was set in 1953 in Beaufort North Carolina. It was also turned into a film. This book was based upon a love story. A popular guy named Landon Carter gets into some trouble and has to participate in after school activities such as the spring play. Jamie Sullivan is a very quite girl, very Christian, and her father is the pastor of a church. Since Landon must participate in the spring play and other activities, he comes around towards Jamie such as talking and running over lines at her house. Landon and Jamie are very different people but they strike a friendship and Landon ends up falling in love with her. Later on he finds out Jamie has cancer. After awhile Jamie falls in love with Landon and accepts his proposal. Jamie was able to spend a couple months married to Landon until she passed away.

Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author, I've read a few of his books. His books are mostly romance and it's what I like to read about normally. This is by far my favorite book I've read so far by Nicholas Sparks.

the last book i read was Lord of the flies. The book was written in 1954 by William Golding. The Book is about a plane of British school boys crashing into a deserted island. Eventually the boys meet up and decide to try to survive together in a civilized way. They vote on a leader so they can have some guidance and they choose a boy named Ralph. One of the other boys who also wanted to be leader didn't like that Ralph was choosen to be leader and so he and ralph have a rivalry.

I would reccomend this book strongly. this book covers a lot of different themes, such as adventure and survival. It is one of the only books i have read and actually enjoyed. It was intense and very interesting to read with lots of good points made and lots of twists. I dont read many books but i would probably read this book again.

Desperation

The last book I read was Desperation written by Stephen King in 1996. I picked this book because he is one of my favorite authors. This book is about a town called Desperation, Nevada. The town is known as one of the loneliest places on earth.
The story is about a couple in love, a writer and the man looking after him, a family on there way to Las Vegas, a hitchhiker, and the cop that brings them all together. The cop puts them all in jail and it’s up to a little boy named Jack to get them out. Once they escape from the jail cell, they stat to discover the truth about the town and about the evil that haunts it. The ones that stick together may be the only ones who survive on there journey to escape the town and the evil that’s now trying to kill them.
I sugest this book to anyone who likes mistery, devistaion, and a good book. It is one of my favorites.

To Kill a Mockingbird

The last book i read was To Kill a Mocking Bird. It was written by Harper Lee and was published in 1960. The main plot was about racism and the mysteries of a neighboor named Boo Radley. Tom Robinson was a black man who was accused of raping a young woman. Although Tom was innocent he was found guilty, he was killed due to the harsh punishments from that time period. Boo Radley was a shy neighboor of the finch's. The kids spent all summer trying to figure things out about him.

The next book i would want to read is something about warfare. I think those kind of books are full of action and the most interesting. I would probably not recommend To Kill a Mocking Bird because i found it was somewhat boring. I love blogging!!

"Lord Of The Flies"

The last book that i read was the book "LORD OF THE FLIES" and that is because we had to read it for my English class,the lord of the flies book was written by William Golding and published in 1954, this is one of many books that i actually enjoyed. in another case my teacher has also deemed it as a novel worth reading, even though this book was mandatory i could see myself reading it just because it has all the things i like. i can characterize this book as action filled, drama based, very mind bending, and leaves you at the edge of your seat most definitely.


The book takes place on an island where the kids get a taste of reality real soon. the kids show up on the island because a the plane crashes, this book is more or less surrounded over the fact of who can get power and if they can keep it. the exposition makes the island seem nice and dandy until the hunger of power hits and changes the perspective of the hole time spent there. no doubt in my mind i would recommend this book, in a sense it has so much to offer and then some. my interests in novels have to be surrounded by action, and leaves you thinking, and with no doubt this book sure did a great job of that.

I would recommend this to anybody who likes nature and adventure. Also if you like people who like to try and do whatever they want, then you will like the antagonist Jack. The next novel i want to read will be something exciting like an adventure or mystery. Something that keeps you guessing and isn't all drama.

BEOWULF

the last book that i read was Beowulf. No one really knows who wrote this because it was during a time before they published stories like this. it was all passed down by people have been taught it. it was first dated between the 8th and early 11th century. this book is an epic about Beowulf (main character) saving the hall of Heorot, built by king Hrothgar(not actual spelling my keyboard doesn't have the characters for his name), from a monster Grendel. i would recomend this kick face book to anyone who likes adventure, mead (alcholic beverage) and likes to feast (all main topics in this story).

my favorite author would have to be J.R.R. Tolkien. i have read "The Hobbit" on several accounts. i am interested in books on WWII. that seems to be the most appealing war to me which is scaring to me that i find a war can be appealing all the blood and death.

To kill a Mockingbird

The last book I read was To kill a mockingbird. This book was written by Harper Lee. To kill a Mockingbird was published in the year 1960. Ms. Croft chose this book for our 10th grade english class last year. The main plot of this book is about a man who was wrongfully acused of a crime he did not commit. He was convicted easily due to the fact he was african american.

This book was interesting. I would recomend this book to anyone wanting to learn more about racism, also how it affects a community of that time period. Although I would rather read books that have more suspence. But To kill a Mockingbird was a great book.

To Kil A Mockingbird

The last book that i read that i would recommend was To Kill A Mockingbird. This book was written by Harper Lee. I loved reading this book because it was a good explanation about how there is still problems between whites and blacks. It was written and published in 1960. The main plot was about problems between whites and blacks in the early 1900s. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a good old American classic. The type of novel that I love to read would be action or adventure. Most other times I also read books because people recommend them to me.

Twilight

The last book I read was Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Stephenie Meyer published this book in 2005. I chose this book for many reasons. Almost all of my friends had read this book and enjoyed it and recommended it to me. I also enjoyed it very much. This book fit my interests becasue its full of drama, love, and adventure. I wanted to read the book before the movie came out becasue I knew that I wanted to see the movie, but only after the book.
The main plot of this book was about a girl named Bella Swan who moves from Phoenix (with her mother) to a small town called Forks. There she meets Edward Cullen and falls in love with him almost instantly. Throughtout this book she and Jacob Black and through research Bella finds out Edwards family secret, which is that they are Vampires. I would recommend this book to everyone! I loved it and i know many guys who loved this book as well. There is a series of Twilight books, followed with movies. (:
